About Reve' M. Pete
Reve' M. Pete is a licensed minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and an anointed Bible Study Teacher. She entered the ministry in August 1981. At that time she founded The Anointed Pen, an evangelical newspaper, and began preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was licensed to preach July 18, 1985 by the late Elder Ella S. Davis, founder of Pentecost Tabernacle of Christ in Albany, Georgia.
Reve's ministry has included youth revivals, prayer ministry & bible teaching, two radio broadcasts: Peace in Troubled Times and A Fresh Start as well as a newspaper column in the Albany Southwest Georgian of Albany, Geogia. Presently, her ministry focuses on spiritual growth and development in the Body of Christ.
Reve' began taking music lessons at the age of six. At the age of fifteen, she became a church musician. She created Gospel Music by Ear Piano Course 1 after seventeen and one-half years experience playing Traditional Gospel Music.
Reve' is a former computer programmer and computer systems analyst. She began her career as a Data Processing professional in 1980 as a computer operator at Turner Job Corps Center in Albany and was subsequently promoted to computer programmer. From 1986-1991, Reve' worked for the City of Albany Georgia as first a computer programmer and then as a computer systems analyst in the area of Criminal Justice. As a systems analyst, she designed, created and implemented a tri-agency arrest booking (computer software) system for Albany-Dougherty County. Today, Reve' uses her computer skills as webmaster of Reve' M. Pete Ministries, Inc. websites which include A Fresh Start Online and Albany's Internet Mall.
Reve's educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Mathematics from Albany State University, a Master of Ministry, summa cum laude and a Doctorate of Theological Studies, summa cum laude (4.0 GPA) from Bethany Divinity College and Seminary. Her coursework has included studies in Theology, Religion and Philosophy (including Apologetics).
Additional studies include courses of study at Bethany toward a Doctorate of Ministry. Her credits toward the Doctorate of Ministry include a completed dissertation, The Impact of Holiness Preaching as Taught by John Wesley and the Outpouring of the Holy Ghost on Racism.
Reve' is a former Partner in Excellence with the former Jackson Heights Elementary School (now Robert H. Harvey Elementary School) of Albany Georgia. During her tenure as a JHES Partner in Excellence, she also served as Secretary of the School Council (2003-2005). She is a Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a member of the Crowley Louisiana Branch of the National Association of University Women.
The U.S. Commerce Association has recognized Albany's Internet Mall with the Best of Albany Award in the category of Religious Organizations. Reve has been included in the 2005-2006 Edition of National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.
